Five Rules in a Successful Multi-level Marketing Business

Multi-level Marketing also popularly known as MLM is a very popular type of business most people from all throughout the world are venturing into. Some became successful. but some failed. Here are the five rules in becoming successful in multi-level marketing. 1. Prepare your prospect list. Having a list of your prospects will help you manage and execute your marketing plan. Categorize your prospects based on their financial status and level of authority over a group of people. Most successful MLM businessmen categorize their market based on money, authority and needs. Money for those people with the financial capabilities to start their own MLM business. Authority is for those who have authority over a group of people such as school principals, politicians, managers, community leaders, church or religious sect leaders and even student leaders. 2. Use the right ways to invite people to attend business seminars or orientations. It is very important that when you approach your prospects from the moment you invite them to attend a business seminar or orientation, you do it the right way. One good way is asking second opinion from your prospects. For example, you can say “can you help me figure out if this new business introduced to me is indeed a good business? They have a seminar tomorrow and I want you to come with me.” By saying this kind of statement, you make your prospect feel you are asking help from him which makes him feel that you trust him and his opinion. Another good way is when you use a third party such as saying “do you know someone who is interested in a new business that he can do part time but can earn him more than his salary?” These words will encourage him to present himself into such idea or opportunity before he would suggest another person. 3. Always move on. Whether your prospects signed up or not, you always move on. Generally, when you invite a group of people, some of them will sign up and some will not. If they signed up, move on to the next prospects. When they didn’t, move to the next prospects. It is very important not to be too emotional when there is rejection from your prospects. Remember that it is the opportunity to earn a fortune that they rejected, not you. 4. Never give up. In every business, this rule is very important. There is always a risk when you enter a business. To overcome these risks, you need to be persistent and a winner. If you quit, you lose. Successful businessmen never quit. 5. Make God your upline. Do not forget to thank Him for the opportunity He has given you. Always ask help so your business will become successful. When you know God is always with you in everything you do, there is no room for failure.
